Eat Healthy, Be Active with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System

If living a healthier lifestyle is one of your goals for 2013, this series is for you. Developed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, the research-based workshops are designed for individuals and families to come together in a fun and interactive setting to learn about eating healthier and putting more activity into their everyday life.
There will be six workshops, each lasting 1 hour and containing handouts, activities, and videos designed to help you make healthier choices. You will have an opportunity to learn about foods to increase, foods to decrease, how to balance calories and many more nutrition/health related topics.
