Easter Bell (Nix) Henslee, age 93 of Nauvoo, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Princeton Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Ira Dale Nix and Rausie Bell (Moore) Nix.
She was preceded in death by her Beloved Son-Charles Edward and Husband-Edward (Stud) Henslee; Sisters-Winnie May Farley, Linnie Dell Stafford, Minnie Hadder and Willodean Nix; Brothers-Lester Nix and Elaine Nix.
She is survived by her Sisters-Beatrice Jones, Flora Jane Head, Geneva Martin (Loyd); A host of nieces and nephews, many friends and relatives; Two special girls who called her granny McKinley Ferguson and Ashley Sims.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:30 PM in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Liberty Grove Cemetery. Joe Daniels will officiate.
