Earline McCormack, 88, of Leighton, died Saturday, September 7, 2013. Her visitation will be Tuesday, September 10th, from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm with Thomas Holt and Ben Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Creek cemetery.
Mrs. McCormack was one of the founding members of Blythe Memorial Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John A. McCormack; brothers, Alton Cornelius and Jimmy Cornelius; sisters, Ludy Faulkner, Peggy Anderton, Beatrice Reaves, Dorothy Sizemore, and Clara Crowden.
She is survived by her son, John Ray McCormack; daughters, Carolyn Underwood, Judy Tidwell, and Teresa Ferrell; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
She was a loving and faithful Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be greatly missed by family and friends.
