Earl Waylon Cox, 82, of Five Points, TN, passed away May 23, 2016 after a brief illness. Mr. Cox was a Baptist and a retired electrician.
Mr. Cox is survived by:
Sons: Roger, Arnold, and Shannon Cox
Daughter: Patricia Thigpen and husband David
Brothers: Royce, David, Jimmy, and Harold Cox
Sisters: Irene Jackson, Mildred Thigpen, and Ruby Putman
Grandchildren: Tim and Krista Thigpen
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl V. Cox and Katie Lou Michael Cox; wife Rachel Okerlene Mattox Cox; son Larry Cox; (2) brothers; and (2) sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Lexington, AL.
