Earl “Trahe” George Nesbitt III, age 51, of Jasper, Alabama, passed away on July 21, 2026. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the chapel of the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by his father, Earl George Nesbitt Jr., and his mother, Rose Delores Goins. Grandparents, Earl George Nesbitt and Ossie Dubois Nesbitt. And his brother Mark Cottingham.
Earl is survived by his son Chandler Gaige Nesbitt and stepson Tyler Fritzie. Two sisters, Melisa Vickery (Jack), Michelle Ray (Greg), and his loving cat “Queen Spooky”, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Earl enjoyed hiking, writing poetry, writing music, and playing the piano. He worked for the city of Birmingham for many years as a GIS specialist and enjoyed making maps. He had many friends including his work friends that he loved.
