Earl McIntosh, 66, of Iuka, MS, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – East in Memphis, TN. He enjoyed traveling, working in the yard, and bargain hunting. Earl also enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, cooking, building LEGO kits, and taking care of his dog, Lucy. He was a trained helicopter pilot and retired from the Army National Guard after 20 years of service. Above all, Earl enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Basham McIntosh; his son, Will McIntosh (Leah); his grandchildren, Harper and Eli McIntosh; and his siblings, Becky Thacker and Al McIntosh (Dana). He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred “Bud” Uriah McIntosh and Erline Zalewski. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Lance Foster. Burial is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Corinth National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Ronald Brents, Rodney Pannell, Greg Ross, Trip Lomenick, and Brian Grissom. Honorary pallbearer will be Lee Shields. Donations may be made in Earl’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
