Earl M. “Sonny” Sanders, 88 of Dora, passed away July 30, 2022.
He was retired from Drummond Company (formerly ABC Coke), he attended Argo Church of God and was a graduate of Dora High School, class of 1952.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bo Sanders; grandson, Daniel Wynn; parents, Earl and Mary Pearl Sanders and sister, Cleo Brasfield.
Survivors include his wife of 43 1/2 years, Wanda Sanders; children, Pam Glass (Robert) and Liz Vorhoff (Kurt); grandchildren, Alex (Thomas) Ranshaw, Kurt “Buddy” Vorhoff and Amanda Vorhoff; great grandchildren, Raelynn and Brooks; several other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service and burial will be Sunday July 31, 22 at 2:00 pm at Brasfield Cemetery in Burnwell. Rev. David Esco will officiate. There is no public visitation. Everyone is invited to meet at the gravesite.
