Earl E. Cloud, Jr., 71, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on July 11, 1947 in Huntsville to the late Earl and Marjorie Cloud. Earl graduated from the University of Alabama and Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Following graduation, he returned to Huntsville and practiced law with his father until his death in 2002. Earl actively practiced law for more than 40 years. They were members of Covenant Presbyterian and First Baptist Church.
Earl is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sheila Stinnett Cloud; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Laura Cloud of Nashville, Tennessee, and Earl E. Cloud, III (“Brooks”) and Carrie of Atlanta, Georgia; grandsons, Connor, Hudson, and Wyatt; sister, Susan Cloud; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Dixie Cloud; aunt and uncle, Charles and Ginger Brooks of Nashville, Tennessee; and numerous beloved cousins.
The family will receive friends at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at 1:00 with the funeral service following at 2:00.
