Earl D. Moore, 76 of Cherokee passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Monday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Cody Crum officiating. Burial will follow at Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Earl was a native of Mynot, AL and a member of Mynot Baptist Church. He was a retired timber cruiser and was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Louie Moore.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Faye Moore; daughter, Mary Lou Thomas (Jeff); brother, Billy Wayne Moore (Freda); grandchildren, Ashley Tubbs (Zach), Drew Malone (Taylor), and Montana Thomas; 3 great-grandchildren, Paisley Tubbs, and Julia and Blakely Malone; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Ricky Moore, Zach Tubbs, Clay Waddell, Jimmy Tapp, Parker Harrell, and Tommy Malone. Honorary pallbearers are Harold and Kevin Watson, Junior Williams, Charles Bishop, and Dr. Ronald McCoy.
