E. Virginia Carter passed away April 21, 2016 peacefully surrounded by her family, joining Jesus Christ, her savior. She has fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith. Her family will receive friends Saturday, 11-1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kirk Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Ray Cemetery, Rogersville.
Mrs. Carter was a native of Lexington, AL and a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. C. Carter, son, Troy Carter and daughter, Linda Carter.
She is survived by her sons; Rickey Carter(Rhonda) of Tuscumbia, Larry Carter of Huntsville; grandchildren, Neely Boyett (Joe) Evan Carter (Misty); great-grandchildren, Carter Boyett, Braylee Boyett, and Roman Carter.
Pallbearers are Joe Boyett, Evan Carter, Danny Inman, Jerry Hester, Randy Inman and Ricky Bates.
