E.K.”Dean” Miller, age 93 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Friday, July 22, 2016. He owned Miller’s Used Cars in Haleyville for 50 years; was a member of Lions Club, volunteer Fireman for a number of years and honorary deputy with the Winston County Sheriff Dept.. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Visitation is Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. with the Funeral at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Bro. Ricky Thrasher officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, LaWanda (Philip) Wooldridge and Cathy Miller; grandchildren, Kristi (Tim) Eli, Evan (Ellen) Wooldridge, Jase Wooldridge, Brandy Wall, Keela (Kevin) Ward and Jake (April) Hutcheson; 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Ella Miller, his 9 brothers and sisters; wife, LaVerne Miller.
