Dwite A. Ivie, age 92, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Prospect, AL, and a retired automotive electrical rebuilder. Mr. Ivie served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Paul and Essie Mae Henslee Ivie; seven brothers, Fred Ivie, Curtis Ivie, E. W. Ivie, Evit Ivie, Brill Ivie, Adrian Ivie, and James Ivie; and three sisters, Sue Whitten, Ruble Sims, and Billie Boswell.

He is survived by

Adeline M. Ivie, Summertown, TN

Two Daughters –
Pamela S. Johnson (Nick), Lawrenceburg, TN
Debra V. Faulkner (Stanley), Ethridge, TN

One Son –
Scott D. Ivie, Summertown, TN

One Sister –
Faye Nell Ivie, Nashville, TN

Four Grandchildren –
Jennifer Pigg (Mark)
Brian Faulkner (Korie)
Jeremy Johnson (Lindsey)
Jacob Johnson (Candace)

Paisley Johnson

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2015, with Howard Kitter officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to Summertown Baptist Church Missions.
