Dwight Kelley Profile PhotoDwight “Red” Kelley, an avid outdoorsman and beloved practical joker, passed away on May 10th, 2023, at the age of 73. He was born on January 8th, 1950, to Howard and Lorraine Kelley in Columbia, TN.

 

Dwight was known for his love of hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling, and was a die-hard sports fan. He was also renowned for his practical jokes, and his mischievous sense of humor brought laughter and joy to everyone he knew.

 

For over 30 years, Dwight was the proud owner of Dwight’s Painting in Columbia, TN. He was dedicated to his craft, and his attention to detail and exceptional customer service earned him a loyal clientele and a reputation as one of the best in the business.

 

Dwight is survived by his step-daughter Jennifer (Chris) Worley, and their children, Taylor and Matthew, of Murfreesboro, TN; his son David (Tammy) Wallace, and their children, Logan (Kimberly) and Marie Wallace, of Stockbridge, GA; his ex-wife Linda Kelley of Columbia, TN; and his siblings Brenda (Duran) Schults of Ethridge, TN, and Randy Kelley of Columbia, TN.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lorraine Kelley, and his brothers Joe, Wayde, and Michael Kelley.

 

Dwight will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His kind heart, infectious laughter, and zest for life will be remembered always.
