Dwight David Sims, age 64, passed away June 27, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, from 1-2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Shaw Cemetery.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his sons, David Sims Jr. (Shannon) and Tom Sims (Tamara); sisters, Pat Stark, Bonnie Cypret (Eddie), Sherry Hensley (Mike), Mary Bruce (Wesley), and Sherry Staggs (Kenny); brother, Dale Sims; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Reba Sims, Robert Wilson, and Billy and Lee Ann Akers for their care and friendship.
