Dwayne M. Ivie 79 of Decatur will be Saturday March 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hank Smith and Rev. Bryan Canuteson officiating and Burial at Decatur city cemetery. The family will have a visitation from Noon until service time.

Mr. Ivie was born on May 18, 1939 in Oklahoma City to Oscar Ivie and Olivene Cooper Ivie and he passed away on March 22, 2019 at USA Decatur Health and rehab. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, he was a volunteer at Parkway Medical center for 10 years and a member Decatur Baptist Church where he loved and he loved to share music and books.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Mizell Ivie, son Eric Ivie and wife Leah, daughters Kara Ivie Osborne and husband Bradley “B.J”, DeAnna Hayes. Grandchildren Jonah Osborne, Kinsley Osborne, Courtney Hayes. Brother Randy Ivie, Sister Janice Jeffrey.
