Dwayne Keith Kidd

  Dwayne Keith Kidd, 83, passed away June 23, 2020.

He was a beloved brother to Janis Seymour (Bill) and uncle to Kelly DuPree (Brian), Ethan, Aaron and Bryleigh.  Nieces Myra Gaskins, Robin Chambers, Holly Driver.  Nephews Tommy Walker, Randy Ham, Ron Shirley.  Special friends Chad Hinton and Jean Payne.

He was employed at Redstone Arsenal for 38 years and was honored to have received the Outstanding Civilian Service Award from the Dept of the Army.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea. In 1985 he was a coach for the Knight Swingers softball team winning the state championship. An avid supporter of UAH chargers basketball and a member of the booster club.  He was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church.

We were blessed to have such a wonderful person in our lives.

A private graveside service will be held at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Boaz, AL. on Wednesday, July 1st at 1 p.m.
