Dwayne Edward Carter Sr., age 61, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on November 25, 1962, in Columbia, Tennessee. Dwayne was the son of Jacqueline Johnson. He had a true servant’s heart, helping anyone in need, no matter what time they called. Dwayne loved his family unconditionally. He was a lover of animals and became a foster home for many dogs and cats. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a mister fix it, watching NCIS, and listening to country music. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, wife, Angela Carter, sons, Joseph Carter, and Dwayne Carter Jr.,daughter, Hannah Marie Carter (Tristan), sisters, Carolyn (James) Bozeman, Patricia (Robbie) Easley, and Michelle (Travis) Glenn, grandchildren, Sydney Carter and Carolina Carter, father-in-law, Richard Paul (Particia) Seurer, best friends, Andy Sajovic and Frank Sajovic.
