Graveside service for Dusty Carter, 31, will be today, Feb. 3, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Andrews Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. Gary Carter and Bro. Tim Aris officiating, and Peck Funeral Home directing. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Carter, who died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital, was born May 4, 1984, in Cullman County. He was a machine operator for Tanksley Machine Shop. He was an excellent musician and loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, the Rev. James Blevins and the Rev. Mack Carter.
Survivors include his parents, Tim Carter and Becky Carter; one sister, Emily Latham (Matt), Eva; his grandmothers, Madge Carter, Vinemont and Christeen Blevins, Falkville; two nephews, Carter and Walker Latham; and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hulsey, Derek Hulsey, Chuck Barnett, Josh Templet, Matt Latham, Carter Latham, Walker Latham and Kellen Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Crisis Center of North Alabama.
