MUSCLE SHOALS – It is a widely-known fact – Duane Allman got his start at Rick Hall’s FAME Studios.

Sure there are some people out there that will naysay this point. But facts don’t lie.

This past weekend, Duane’s daughter Galadrielle made her “Hajj” to Muscle Shoals. She visited FAME Studios on Avalon and Muscle Shoals Sound Studios on Jackson Highway. Galadrielle has written a book, “Please Be With Me: A Song For My Father, Duane Allman”.

For three evenings, to packed houses, she talked about her journey that led her to write. The audiences at each of the venues were treated to music presented by Scott Boyer II, who was a close friend of Duane Allman, and who co-wrote a number of hit tunes with the music legend. It truth, the three evenings were unforgettable.
