DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit made a drug arrest on Monday, June 6 in the 1500 block of 16 Ave in Decatur:
“During the previous months of 2016 Investigators with the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit received complaints concerning possible illegal drug activity with two white males identified as Nicholas Peterson and Chris Ingram. During the investigation Peterson and Ingram were found distributing quantities of methamphetamine on multiple occasions throughout the City of Decatur.
On June 6, 2016 members of the Organized Crime Unit, Patrol Division, and Madison-Morgan HIDTA arrived at 1535 16th Ave SE Apt 6 in Decatur to speak with Peterson concerning the complaints. Officers identified several subjects inside the apartment and later located a quantity of meth, drug use paraphernalia, and a loaded firearm.
The following suspects were arrested and their charges and bonds are listed:
Nicholas Peterson, two counts of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Peterson was booked at the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with a $13,000.00 bond.
Chris Ingram, Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Loitering; Ingram was booked at the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with an $8,000.00 bond.
Trey Blankenship, Providing a False Name to Law Enforcement and Carrying a Pistol without a Permit; Blankenship was booked at the Decatur City Jail with a $1,000.00 bond.
Susan Lindsey, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering, $1,000.00 bond.
Jessica Lynn Yarbrough, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering, $1,000.00 bond.”
