Driver Of Auto That Plunged Into Cypress Creek Has Been Charged With Manslaughter

FLORENCE– This just in from the Florence Police Department.  The name of the driver of the auto that plunged into Cypress Creek on March 6th killing Johnathon Atkisson has been release.  His name is Jeremy Dean Martin, he has been charged with Manslaughter.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jeremy Dean Martin for the crime of Manslaughter. The investigation ultimately led to probable cause to believe that Martin was the driver of the vehicle that crashed into Cypress Creek on March 6th, 2015 that took the life of Johnathon Heath Atkisson. Our investigation also revealed that Martin was under the influence at the time of the wreck. An autopsy was performed, but the results are unavailable at this time.
