Drive-By Shooting In Sheffield Friday Night; Police Looking For Shooter

SHEFFIELD-Sheffield Police Chief Ricky Terry released a statement concerning a drive-by shooting that took place in Sheffield on Friday night around 1030PM.  He is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers:
“Around 10:30 P.M. last night Friday, September 9, the Sheffield Police Department was dispatched to 500 North Annapolis Ave due to A drive by shooting.
When Officers arrived they spoke with two victims that were shot. Both victims were transported to local hospitals were they where treated and released.
Witness at the scene said a dark gray four door Honda Civic or an Accord was traveling at a high rate of speed. Witness stated a black male wearing an Alabama hoodie was leaning out the back window and started firing shots.
The Sheffield Police Department ask if anyone knows anything to contact the police department or Shoals Area Crime Stoppers. (Crime Stoppers 256.386.8685)”
