Doyle Gene Swan, 69, of Rogersville passed away December 31st, 2016 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Visitation will be Monday, January 2nd, 2017 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leeroy Gatlin, Jr., Shawn Gatlin, Heath Tucker, Jimmy Gatlin, Jr., James Swan, Thomas Swan, Brian Terry and Neal Gatlin.
Mr. Swan was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lillie Swan; son, Chuckey Wayne Swan; 2 brothers and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Jane Swan; sons, Barry Swan and Brandon (Carla) Swan; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; sister, Maxine Keown;; numerous nieces and nephews.
