Doyce N. McLemore – Obituary

doyceDoyce N. McLemore, 92, of Rogersville died Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 at Glenwood Health Care Facility. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 – 1 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately with Randy Baker and David Paden officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard McLemore, David McLemore, Sammy McLemore, Paul Birdwell, Joel Birdwell, David Romine and Brad Romine; honorary pallbearer, Steven McLemore.
Mr. McLemore was a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and a veteran of the United States Army as an airplane mechanic serving in World War II. He was proudly decorated with Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie McLemore; son, Raymond McLemore; daughter, Sharon Baker and brother, Hubert McLemore. He is survived by his son-in-law, Don Baker; granddaughters, Julie Marie (Klint) Kehley and Tia Marie (Jesse) Murphy; great-granddaughters, Jessie Marie Murphy and Ziva Marie Murphy; brother, Oneal (Nita) McLemore; sister-in-law, Ella June (Ronald) Craig.
