Funeral for Doyce Mae Holt, 78, of Danville will be today, November 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Jim Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Holt, who died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at her home, was born September 7, 1935, in Lawrence County to Emmett and Bessie McMillian. She was a retired nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Slattery; one daughter, Wanda Gail Keel; and her parents.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Holt; five grandchildren, Dawn Lee Ann Kent, Brandon DeVaney, Amber Falen, Amanda David and Daniel Holt; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Kent, Jesse Hagood, Daniel Holt, Corey Falen, Eddie Coker and John Bates.
