Doyce Lee Lucroy, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Pontotoc Health and Rehab, surrounded by his devoted and loving family. He had a deep love for gardening and yard work. His passion for his church and faith in the Lord was unwavering. He worked at Brookwood Furniture for 36 years and Affordable Furniture for 5 years.
Doyce was survived by his wife of 57 1/2 years Betty Lucroy, his daughter, Anita Dillard (Phillip), his son, Steve Lucroy (Jeannie), his 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Ashcraft (Devin), Justin Dillard (Amber), Corie Lucroy (Callie), Landon Tutor (Anna), and John Garrett Tutor, 7 great grandchildren, Zoey, Zadi, Judson, Sophie, Jak, Bodie, and Lynlee, and his brother, Roy Lucroy (Debra) of Philadelphia, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Bonnie Lucroy, his 3 brothers, Frank, Joe, and Jimmy Lucroy, and his sister, Edna Comans.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1 PM at Life at Tupelo FPC, located at 900 South Thomas St, Tupelo, MS. Bro. Jay Carney and Bro. Brent Welch will be officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 5 to 8 PM and Saturday from 11AM until the service begins. The burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens no graveside services will be held
Pallbearers will be Corie Lucroy, Justin Dillard, Devin Ashcraft, Troy Bone, Timmy Tutor, Mark Chism, Steve Morgan, and Rob Thompson.
