SHEFFIELD – Quad-Cities Daily friends, Laquita and Rodney Logan must be having a great time these days. Seems they’re always smiling. Lots of smiles were evident along Montgomery Avenue the past 10 days or so… There’s a big new video sign right above the door of Zoey Belle’s. Yep… More evidence that the Downtown is on an upward climb. Developer Danny Hardeman is smiling. Danny is building new apartments all around Zoey Belle’s. And Frank Vafinis has just opened his great new George’s 217 across the street. Frank likes the video screen. He says Laquita wants to show some Auburn football games. Call it a street party. Who knows, maybe some of us can get some Crimson Tide football too!
