Dovie Marie Dykes, 93, of Prattville, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.
She was born on Saturday, Dec. 27, 1919, in Chilton County, Ala., the daughter of the late James Marion Gray and the late Alice Weaver Gray.
Surviving are daughters, Alice (James) Hester, of Russellville, Ala., Kathy (David) Clark, of Prattville, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Ann Dykes, of Prattville, Ala.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Dykes; and son, Kenneth Dykes.
Friends will be received from 5-7, Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Indian Grave Baptist with the Rev. Leon S. White officiating.
Interment will follow in Indian Grave Cemetery, Billingsley, Ala.
