Douglas Wayne Nayman,81, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 2nd, 2024.
Mr. Nayman is survived by his sons; Michael Shane Nayman (Phaedra Miller), and Jeff Nayman (Cheryl), grandchildren; Melissa Chapman, Chris Nayman, Justin Nayman, Pamela Nayman, 19 great-grandchildren, brothers; Anthony Nayman (Doris), Jerry Nayman (Jenny), Don Nayman (Kathy), Ralph Nayman, Tommy Nayman, Neal Nayman (Annette), Tim Nayman (Vickie), and a host of other family.
He is preceded by his wife; Regina Martin, parents; Thomas and Dorothy Nayman, and brother; Thomas Nayman.
Mr. Nayman served his country with the United States Army and is a Vietnam War Veteran. His declarations received are the National Defense Service Medal, Purple Heart, Bronze Star Valor Device, and Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star. He is a member of the VFW and American Legion as well as Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #1067.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 4:00 PM with Dean Moore officiating. Military Honors will be rendered for Mr. Nayman in appreciation for his service to his country.
