Douglas Ray Goodman, 76 of the Alto community passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 following a brief illness. He retired from CSX as a locomotive engineer and served as a county commissioner for Franklin County. He is preceded in death by wife, JoAnn McCollum; daughter, Shannon Goodman Underwood and his loyal fur friend, Luke. He is survived by his wife, Marsha; daughter, Stephanie Mitchell; grandchildren, Nate Byrnes, Gentry Mitchell and Sorrel Schwartz; great granddaughter, Ensleigh Schwartz; mother, Vera Cowley; brothers, Randell (Nina) and Rex (Connie) Cowley; also, very special friend Scott Limbaugh.
