Funeral service for Douglas Randall Floyd, 59, will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Quail Creek Chapel with Rev. Matt Nail officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Quail Creek Chapel.
Mr. Floyd died on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1954, in Jones County, Mississippi to Howard Douglas Floyd and Mozelle Belcher Haywood Floyd. Mr Floyd was retired from General Motors. He worked part time at the Point Mallard Golf Course.
He also worked part time for the Point Mallard Golf Course. His favorite hobby was playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends including: Steve Chandler, Dick Latas, Edward McCormick, Ronald Belcher, Eason Mizell, Coleman Mizell and Kodi Chandler.
In lieu of flowers family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Valley, P.O. Box 2745, Decatur, Alabama 35602 and/or The First Tee.
