Douglas McArthur Nance, 80 of Gurley, passed away on November 30, 2023.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maxine Nance; children, Mark Nance (Jan), Paul Nance (Cindy); grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Trent, Adam; and four great grandchildren.
Douglas was a member of the holiness Church for 50 years, and currently a member of Welcome Home Holiness Church. He was a retired bus driver for Madison County Schools Board of Education, where he drove for Madison County High School and was a substitute teacher for several years.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will be Monday, December 4, 2023 at Berryhill Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Brother Ollie Taylor and Brother David Gardner officiating. Burial will be at Gurley Cemetery.
