Funeral services for Douglas Leonard Young, age 72 of Fayetteville, will be conducted
Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 11 AM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery beside his wife Edna Barham Young. Mr. Young passed away Friday October 9, 2015.
He was a native of Memphis, TN and the son of the late Thomas Rivers Young and Katherine McGinnis Young who survives. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, was in business management and a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include son Brandon (Jessica) Young of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Harper and Rivers Young.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friends of the Library or the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.
