Douglas Lee Wilson, age 52, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday Oct. 30, 2014.
Visitation will be today, 6-8 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Sunday, 2:30 p.m., at Snowdown Church of Christ, Booneville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Doug was a graduate of Deshler High School. He served in the U.S. Army and loved the outdoors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Beulah MacMillan and Robert and Leola Wilson, and his brother, David Wilson.
He is survived by his parents, James and Rita Wilson; children, Daniel Wilson and Heather Nale (Kane); grandchildren, Preston and Brianna Nale; sisters, Diane Russell (Sam) and Denise Bradford (Rick); and many other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Mike Wilson, Ricky Bain, Mike Grant, Mike Kilpatrick, Jamie Grant, and Russell Frost.
