Funeral service for Douglas Eugene Horton of Athens, Alabama will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Athens, Alabama with Rev. Dr. Howard Middlebrooks officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before funeral time. Interment and committal will be at the Thatch-Mann cemetery.
Public viewing will be at Peoples’ Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m.
