Douglas Dale Roden, 74, of Arley entered into rest on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Roden was born September 15, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama. He loved his family and his life revolved around his children and grandchildren. He also loved golfing, fishing and Alabama football.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Douglas is survived by his sons, Doug Roden and Pat (Tonya) Roden; daughter, Amy (Dawn) Hendricks; grandchildren, Lexie, Trey, Courtney, Elle, Emmah and Madison; great grandchildren, Kailee Grace and Hudson; sister, Shelby Jean (J.B.) Parker; the mother of his children, Emily Roden and two granddogs, Kimber and Sophie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. and Hazel Loraine Roden; father and mother-in-law, Luck and Geraldine Giddy and nephews, Steve Parker, Keith Parker and Tim Parker.
