Douglas Anthony McClintock, age 76 of Jackson, passed away on September 27, 2021 in Jackson.

He was born on August 23, 1945 in Hornsby, TN, the son of the late Everett and Bertha Gilchrist McClintock. He served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lynn McClintock; two siblings, Dwight McClintock and Fayrene Gilbreath; and two brothers-in-law, Bob White and Anthony Gilbreath.

He is survived by his children, Tiffany McClintock Throneberry (Jeff), Whitney McClintock Polizzi (Nick), and Justin McClintock (Jessica); seven grandchildren, Savannah Throneberry, Sydney Throneberry, Griffin Throneberry, Elizabeth Polizzi, Katherine Polizzi, Mason McClintock, and Harlei McClintock; and two siblings, Royce McClintock (Shirley) and Wilda White.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Hatchie Cemetery in Hardeman County. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army.

Pallbearers to serve will be Justin McClintock, Mason McClintock, Jeff Throneberry, Griffin Throneberry, Jamie Weaver, and Clint Ragan.

In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, the family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
