Doug Hammock, 55, died Monday, April 6, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Waukegan, IL to Joe and Mary Sue Webb Hammock and worked as a logger.

Graveside services we be Monday, April 13, 4 p.m. at Burnout Cemetery, Vina, AL with Bro. Todd Kemp and Kevin Watson officiating. Burial was in Burnout Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife – Amanda Hammock, Red Bay, AL; four children – McKenzye Lindley (Jacob Parrish), Zachary Hunt (Charlise), Elizabeth Hunt and Anna Grace Hunt (Blake Bowling); seven grandchildren; one sister – Melissa McGee; one brother – Ken Elrod; his step-father – David Elrod and H.W. Watson and Son Logging Crew and Trucking.;

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pam Elrod.
