Dot-Rackley-1446400506Dot Rackley of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Nashville. She was born in Bethel, Tennessee on September 25, 1939 and was 76 years old.
Dot was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She worked as a bank teller, was a business office manager in Huntsville, Alabama, worked in a law firm for 5 years, and was the owner of Madison Travel Agency for over 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 3rd from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and an hour before services on Wednesday at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 4th at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Stevenson officiating.
Burial will follow in Stella Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to First United Methodist Church, 200 West Jefferson Street, Pulaski, TN. 38478 or Giles County Public Library, 122 South 2nd Street, Pulaski, Tennessee or Stella Cemetery %Sandra Parsons, 2835 Hagan Rd Prospect, Tn. 38477.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Barnes and Elizabeth (Hickey) Mitchell Edmundson and a sister, Joy McMasters.
She is survived by her,
Son, Joseph Madison (Matt) Rackley III and wife Connie of Pulaski
Son, David Edmundson Rackley of Pulaski
Son, William Riley (Bill) Rackley II and wife Traci of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Ashton, Joseph, Garrett, Grayson, Hunter, and Trey Rackley.
Sister, Sue Cardin of Pulaski
Sister, Metta Rone and husband Kyle of Houston, Texas
Brother, Ned Edmundson and wife Juell of Pulaski
Brother-in-law, Blaine McMasters
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
