Dorothy Willingham Wells, 85, formerly of Florence, Alabama, died on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be missed.
Born Friday, Jan. 15, 1932, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Willingham and the late Ella Smallwood Willingham.
Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee
She is survived by one son, Thomas H. Wells, of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one grandson, Brandon Wells and his wife, Laura, of Jackson, Tennessee; one great-grandson, Cody Wells, of Jackson, Tennessee; and one niece, Patti Christensen, of St. Augustine, Flordia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Christensen.
