Mrs. Dorothy V. Story, 85, of Nashville, formerly of Florence, died August 4, 2014, in Nashville. Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Story was born in Tennessee to the late James M. Carson and Lethia Mae Weaver Carson. She was a member of the Sherrod Ave. church of Christ and a home maker.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Dona K. Story; daughters, Jackie Cornelius and Judy Story and several siblings. Surviving are her daughters, Linda Story, Nashville, and Betty Morrow (Steve), Birmingham; granddaughter, Krissee Sweitzer (David), Birmingham; great grandchildren, Alex, Rowan and Holden Sweitzer; brothers, Buddy Carson and Floyd Carson; sister, Mabel Carson.
