Dorothy Sara Forrest Beard, age 84 of Franklin, TN passed away September 20, 2018. Dorothy was a member of West Main Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Beard; parents, Robert and Ida Forrest; sisters, Mary “Tibby” Forrest, Lena Fitts and Annie Martin. Survived by her sons, Calvin Beard and Roy (Crystal) Beard; daughters, Carlene (Steve) Holt and Jeannie (Chris) Collier; grandchildren, Stephanie (Kris) Hettish, Christina Beard, Rebecca Demumbran, Courtney Beard, Angel Brown, Nathan Beard and Philip (Tiffany) Holt; great grandchildren, Kenzie, Rylie and Landon Holt, Honor and Penelope Hettish, Alison Sullivan and Everly Witt. Step Grandchildren, Ryan and Erin Collier and Royce Hettish; sisters, Betty Hargrove and Lois Green. Funeral Services will be held 4:00PM Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dan Tholan and Steve Peeler officiating. Interment at Beard Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-6:00PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Members of the West Main Church of Christ, Hillsboro Senior Citizens Club and Kris Hettish. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Arthritis Assoc. or Williamson County Animal Shelter.
