Dorothy S. Watkins, 86, of Florence died Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Mitchell Hollingsworth.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2017, 9-10 AM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 10 AM in the Chapel, with Ralton McCarthey officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Watkins is survived by her daughter, Shirley Reid (Dennis); sons, Jimmy Watkins and Jerry Watkins; sister, Annie Lois Thigpen; 10 grandchidren, Rhonda Vanderveer, Jimmy Watkins, Jr., Donnie Hanback, Amaris Hanback, Jerry Watkins, Jr., Katrine Dillard, David Reid, Jonathan Reid, Joshua Reid, and Matthew Reid; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
