Dorothy Ruth Woods, age 87 of Schererville, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hammond, IN for 60 years, where she served as church secretary.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Ronald Andrew will officiate.
Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her Sisters-Mary Hollingsworth, Ressie Forrester and Margie Wade; Brothers-Hughie Woods, Willie Woods, Robert Woods and Joe Woods, Jr.; Mother-Maudie Jane Woods; Father-Forrest Andrew Woods.
She is survived by Several nieces and nephews.
