Dorothy M. Brock, 83 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Born Saturday, April 13, 1929 in Lincoln County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Warren Magnusson and the late Bessie Lee Whitt Magnusson. She was the wife of the late Robert Neal Brock, Sr. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore.
Surviving are son, Robert Neal & Babette Brock, Jr. of Prospect, TN, daughters, Hope &Mike Northey of Lexington, AL and Kathy & Jimmy Smith of Elkmont, AL, brothers, Mike Magnusson of Ardmore, TN and Danny Magnusson of Athens, AL, sisters, Betty Reyer of Ardmore, AL, Imogean McDonald of Ardmore, AL and Edwina Dean of Gainesville, GA, grandchildren: Jared Northey, Anna Alexander, Allyson Downey, and Andrew Smith, greatgrandchildren: Emma Parker, Sera Parker, and Jory Summerton.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Sylone Cemetery, Elkmont, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
