Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Biggs, age 90, will be held at 1 pm Friday, October 2, 2020 at Gibson County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 am until 12 noon on Friday at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. All services will follow the appropriate social distancing protocols with face mask recommended as set forth by the CDC and the State of Tennessee.
She was born in Collierville, TN in November 1929, the youngest child of Fred and Maggie Case.
She then met the love of her life, Cleatus Biggs, and they were married in December 1949.
Due to declining health, she moved in with her daughter in Florida, where she passed on Friday, September 25, 2020.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Cleatus Biggs; her oldest son, William Biggs; and a grandson, Michael.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Biggs and Robert Biggs; a daughter Cindy Biggs; 3 grandchildren, Tony, Cindy, and Christy; 7 great grandchildren, Jeff, C. J., Kimber, Bill, Tristan, William, and Jayden9 great-great grandchildren, Eli, Jace, Max, Karmen, Lilli, Marshall, Dakota, Kameron, and Ellie.
