Funeral service for Dorothy Louise Barnett, 78, will be Friday, March 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Johnson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Turney Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barnett died on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Saturday, August 9, 1941, in Morgan County to Raymond Samuel Looney and Rosie A. Garrison Looney. She was a homemaker for her family, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: William Barnett, her parents, two sons: William Andrew “Buddy” May and James Earl Mills, Jr., a brother: Charles Wayne Looney, a sister: Betty Jo McGregor and three grandchildren: Darla May, Destiny Cheyenne and Samuel Parker.
