Dorothy Lorene Allen, 91, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, in Hodges, Alabama. A native of Franklin County, Alabama, she had lived there all her life and was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation for Mrs. Allen will be Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel, and burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery at Liberty Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Janie Holland and husband Stanley; siblings, Fayrean Hensley, James Cleveland, Cecil Houston Cleveland, and MC Michael; and one grandchild, Bradley Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Josephine Michael, spouse, Edward E. Allen, and daughters, Nancy Allen and Barbara Allen.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, will be directing.
