Dorothy Laverl Wilburn 81, of Ardmore,AL died Friday, May 19, 2017 at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, Alabama.
Born Friday, May 15, 1936 in Ardmore, AL, she was the daughter of Mathew Dixon and Callie Parker Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Woodrow Wilburn, Son, Dennis Wilburn, Ardmore, AL, Grandson George Greene, III, five brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Ray(Tammy) Wilburn, Ardmore, AL, Stanley(Kay) Wilburn, Scotty Wilburn Daughters, Kathy(Dexter) Lander, Longview, TX, Linda(Tommy) Wallace, Athens AL, Nancy(George) Greene, Ardmore, AL, 13 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. Sister Katherine Rozell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home,from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Mike Lovell and Bro. Dexter Landers officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore Al.
