Dorothy Jean Thatcher, age 84 of Madison, past away Sunday. She was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. She was a member of The Brook Church, where she served until her death. Jean was a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit. She was a true woman of God, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, & a friend too many. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Thatcher. She is survived by her two daughters, Cathy Gireth, & husband Mark, & Terry Strotman, two brothers, Earl Watson & Butch Watson, sister, Till Clements, four grandchildren, Katelyn Morgan, Chelsea Rogers, Andrew Strotman, & Jennifer Strotman, Great-granddaughter, Kennady Faith Morgan, & many beloved nieces & nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at The Brook Church, Thursday at 4:00pm with Pastor Brian Mayfield officiating.
